Abigail Morrah-James

Abigail Morrah-James, also known as Abby or Amorrah to friends and family, is a native of Brooklyn, NY with a cultural descendant of Jamaica, West Indies. She has always considered herself a “lover of all things love”. She considers love a verb and has always made it the core principle and driving force behind every field of her work and encounters ever since she was a little girl. Abby is a natural humanitarian whether providing intuitive advice to loved ones, career and socio-emotional counseling to her students and colleagues, planning events, supporting a mom or parent in need, serving as a wedding officiant, or participating in a weekend community service project, she lives to serve others in capacities where she can offer her services of love.

Employed since she was 14 years old, Abby has previous experience working under a multitude of capacities across high schools, non-profit organizations, and other companies. Through these experiences and everyday conversations during her residence in New York City, Connecticut, Ohio, and Kentucky, Abby has realized the consistent missing piece in bridging human connections in our home, school, and work lives (especially since post-pandemic) is the severe lack of social and emotional wellness. Through her unique person-centered strategies, techniques, positive affirmations, and joyful-loving personality, Abby is able to build and maintain fruitful inner-soul connections and uses those skills to provide  emotionally, socially, and inner-soulful experiences and moments for her clients as well, whom she refers to as her neighbors in community and love.

Abby holds a Bachelors in Human Services and Psychology, a Masters of Education in School Counseling, and she is a current Doctoral Candidate of Educational Leadership and Organizational Innovation. She is an avid reader, learner, lover, world traveler, food enthusiast and a proud dog mom to her yorkie-pom, Nova.
